Splash Canine Swim Club is like a yacht club for dogs. It’s the first exclusive, members only experience for dogs in Canada. Our members will enjoy a variety of luxuries in our facility including:

  • Private access - once your initial orientation is complete, you will receive a PIN number allowing you to access the building for your bookings

  • Solo pool time - you will always have the pool 100% to yourself

  • Guaranteed access to use your membership minutes each month - no overbooking here!

How do I become a member?

Step 1: Request an application form at the bottom of this page, fill out the form, and wait patiently while our awesome team reviews it.

Step 2: Once a spot becomes available, approved applicants will receive an email to select a membership type and sign up!

Step 3: Do a happy dance and tell your dog you just did the best thing ever for them!

Why do I have to apply?

We want you to jive with the Splash vibe!

Our vision is to provide a fun, pool party escape for kind people who are crazy about giving their dogs an amazing life. The application process ensures each Splash member is the right fit for the club, while making sure there is always swim time available for current members.

Amenities included with all memberships:

Solo pool use.

During your scheduled swim time, the pool is always 100% yours. You’ll never have to worry about other people or dogs interrupting your swim.

Life jackets in all sizes.

You will always have access to a variety of life jackets. During your orientation session, a Splash Ambassador will help you find the best fit for your dog.

Toys. Lots of floaty toys.

You’ll have access to a wide variety of fun water toys to encourage swimming.

Floating long lines.

For the swimming addicts who have a hard time coming out of the water, we will have a variety of long leashes that float. You can hook it up to your dog’s life jacket to ensure you’ll be able to get them out of the water!

Flexible booking options.

When you book your dog’s swims, you can book in 20 minute increments. Just one dog? Book 20 minute appointments. Need more time? Book a 40, 60 or 80 minute swim. We recommend budgeting 20 minutes of swim time per dog.

Hands-off booking.

Nobody likes emailing back and forth to book things. That is why everything is done completely online in real time. Your membership minutes are added to your account each month and you can book your dog’s swims at times that work for you.

No rushing here.

Following your dog’s swim, you’ll move into another private room, allowing you to get changed, towel off your dogs, put on their drying coats, and then head out to your vehicle, while the next pool user heads in for their swim.

Splash Canine Swim Club is a unique experience. So we have compiled a list of FAQ and their answers!

 Membership FAQs

 
  • Because there is such a high demand for our pool and limited hours in the day, a membership is required to access Splash. At this time, there is no availability for drop-in options.

  • Your minutes will be accessible in your account on your membership renewal date each month. We suggest logging in and booking your dog’s swims for the month, on the day that your minutes become available.

    We have limited the number of members to ensure that there is enough time available to each of you each month, however, if you wait until later in your billing cycle to book your swims, there is no guarantee that you will be able to get all of your swims in during that last week of your cycle.

    If you have minutes leftover, they are valid for up to 60 days from the date they were issued.

  • You bet! The pool is open from 9 AM to 9 PM, 7 days a week. When you apply for a membership, you can choose either a weekday membership, which will give you access to book between 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, or an evenings and weekends membership, giving you access to the pool between 5 PM and 9 PM on weekdays, and from 9 AM to 9 PM on weekends.

    We only sell a set amount of each of these memberships to ensure that you will have the ability to book during these times. It would be awful if, for example, 90% of the members are all trying to access the pool on the weekends. We have set up the memberships in a way that availability will never be a concern.

  • Our amazing team will review your application. If we feel you would be an awesome fit, you will receive an approval email detailing the next steps. We do have a very extensive waitlist, so there can be a wait between being approved and a spot coming available, but we’ll give you more details on that in the email.

  • If your dog hasn’t swam before, a swimming pool is a fabulous way to introduce them to water. We find that it can take up to 4 visits to get a good idea of whether they enjoy it, so we suggest purchasing a membership for a month and this is the perfect “trial” to see if your dog is a fan (you can cancel your membership at any point prior to the next billing date).

    Your first visit always starts with an orientation and our Splash Ambassador will teach you how to help your dog feel confident with swimming. We find that most dogs tend to love swimming if introduced in a no-pressure, supportive way.

  • We want you to get a feel of things to make sure Splash is a good fit for you and your pups. You can purchase a membership and pay for your first month. If at any point in that first month you decide it isn’t for you, you can cancel your membership. Heck, for that matter, you can always cancel your membership at any point if it no longer fits.

  • Your membership is yours as long as you would like to keep it. Your membership dues will be charged to your credit card once per month, and you can cancel at any point.

  • You can cancel your membership at any time. When your membership is canceled, you do go to the back of the waitlist, as we will open your spot up to others that are approved and interested.

    Your membership minutes don’t expire for 60 days, so you can always use them in the following month if you are going to be away.

  • A member may cancel their membership in their online Splash account at any point in their billing cycle without penalty. Remaining pool access time must be used before the end of the billing cycle in which a membership is cancelled.

  • Upgrades can be done at any time if there is space. Downgrades can be completed with 30 days notice.

  • Your application was approved, there was a spot available, and you purchased a membership. Yay! Now what?

    Other than doing a happy dance, check your confirmation email for details on how to log into our members-only portal and book your orientation session and swims.

  • Because of our very long wait list, and the importance of keeping things fair, memberships are non-transferrable.

  • Hey, we get it! We’ll always work with you with these things. We ask that you do not swim your female dog during the bleeding portion of her heat cycle. Your minutes can be used up to 60 days after they were issued, so you are welcome to just delay swimming until that phase is done.

    For injuries, we are happy to put your membership on pause with a vet note until your pup is healed.

  • Yes! Each member must be a current member. Once you have both completed an orientation, you will be able to book your appointments back to back and join each other during your appointments.

  • Your swims are booked in 20 minute intervals. If your membership has 100 minutes per month, you could use it towards one swim, or separate it into up to five separate swims.

  • Because we need to ensure safety for all dogs, our pool liner, and humans, only member dogs are permitted to swim at Splash during individually booked swims.

  • To ensure that we can guarantee enough bookable time for all members, your bookable time frame will stay the same unless your membership type is changed.

  • All household dogs can swim under the same membership.
